I applied a couple of months ago. Feedback for an initial call with the HR came in a timely manner. The call with the HR lasted about 10 minutes. I wasn't asked anything really. The call was just about explaining the company, the team set-up and the requirements for the job. A few days later I received another invite for a call with the team lead. After that call I received a task to complete as a Google Presentation. At the same time an appointment was set up for presenting my case. After nearly finishing the assignment, the appointment for presenting it and having the personal interview, the appointment was cancelled. The reason for this was not really mentioned. I was just told that something came up and that they will get back to me. I followed up several times and they just told me that they can't give me an update yet. Around 3 weeks past like this. Then I seen that the job is not online anymore. So again, I asked about the status of my application. Finally, they told me that the position is on hold and that they might come back to me next year... Therefore, I'm really disappointed in how they treated me: Canceling short notice after already working on their task, keeping me not updated and that I had to insist of getting feedback.
