The interview process was somewhat different. The first call comes from an HR to confirm your technical and personal details. The first technical round is more about what project have you worked in and how did you work with the technologies. The second round was a case study or take home assessment which revolved around building a data pipeline by consuming a huge amount of data and then cleaning the data, followed by transforming it and putting it into target tables. The cons in this was no environment was provided for the problem and you had to do everything from scratch in your own laptop. This seemed a bit awkward as not many people will have a high configuration laptop to download majority of the tech stack. The expectation is to create an Airflow DAG to design the entire pipeline and load the table into S3 or some RDBMS which you need to figure out on your own. Luckily I found another job during the same time and let the HR know that I won't be proceeding forward.
