Had a 1:1 interview with the VP of Marketing and Communications, followed by a 4:1 interview with the rest of team, where I also presented on a case study they had given to me.
The interviews went well, and I was offered the position. I accepted, and followed up with questions about a return to work strategy/remote work policy, as I had recently made plans to visit my family across the country. I was told this wouldn't be an issue, but then received an email the following day calling my questions "presumptious" and that my plan to work remotely would "under no circumstance be acceptable here." They claimed that I had not provided references, which I had, and that I was a risky hire. They rescinded the offer 15 minutes before I was about to put in my 2-weeks notice at my current job.
