I applied for this role on 28 January 2026 via CV and cover letter and was invited to interview shortly afterwards. As part of the process, I was asked to prepare and deliver a 10 minute presentation, and travelled to York for the interview, which was a three hour round trip. I was informed via voicemail the following week that I had been unsuccessful. While I appreciate being notified promptly of the outcome, I was told that feedback would be provided. It has now been three weeks, and despite following up multiple times, I have yet to receive any interview feedback. Given the level of preparation required and the time commitment involved, I would have expected a more timely and respectful feedback process. This experience left me disappointed, as constructive feedback is an important part of a fair and professional recruitment process.
