Similar to most industries
Step 1: Recruiter reaches out, understands your interest and fit for the role. May ask behavioral questions - you can google these
Step 2: Phone interview with hiring manager, tells you about the role and asks a couple questions to understand skillset and maybe some behavioral questions
Step 3: May be excluded, but could be a 2nd phone interview with team
Step 4: on site interview (You pretty much have the job) - behavioral questions with different functional team members
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Johnson & Johnson
Interview
I met a JNJ recruiter at a career fair. I spoke with them briefly then left my resume with them. About 2 months later I was called for an on-site interview. The onsite interview consisted of about 15 - 30 minute interviews in one day. Each interviewer represented a different cross-functional area. Some of the interviews were challenging and technical others were more interested in my interpersonal skills, ability to communicate, and leadership skills.
