In some cases i strongly believe that interviews are a part of luck.
The same happened at my JTP interview, i was asked absurd QN's and had previously mentioned that i can speak basic learner level Japanese, but i was asked QN's in Japanese that were kinda advanced
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All the QNs were asked in Japanese, because i mentioned that i knew a little Japanese, that was a mistake
I applied through university. I interviewed at Japan Third Party (Tokyo) in May 2026
Interview
It's a luck based scam (as far as i know)
It's a company that targets universities for campus recruitment
The process has 4 steps, 1st they conduct a technical assessment which is very hard, Yet as per my knowledge around 30K student worldwide passed their assessment.
Next stage is a personality interview, they give you 30 seconds to 2 minutes and doesn't even ask a technical question. How can they judge a person with just 30 seconds. This raised a red flag for the company. (they don't even provide a interview assessment review when asked, source-> my friend who got rejected here)
next is project based work, they will train you and give you a project for 1.5 months (i am currently at this stage) as far as i know next round is a CEO panel interview after which they call you to japan (i doubt it.)
