The interview process with Intentional Software was streamlined and efficient. It was easy to see that the company truly cared about you as an applicant, as opposed to other larger, more corporate-style companies to which I have applied.
The process began with a 45 minute HR phone screen, in which I was asked about my interests, experience, etc. The HR staff is kind and very well-informed, and were able to answer any questions I had in regards to the company. I was offered a next round interview by the end of the phone call.
The next round consisted of a 60 minute technical phone screen with one of the senior devs. Questions were tough, but all were reasonable. I was scheduled for the next round interview within a day or two, which consisted of a 75 minute technical phone screen with a different senior dev. Again, difficult, but enjoyable. Both phone calls were great opportunities to learn more about the company and what they do, as well as pick the brains of a few sincere, intelligent members of the team.
Within a few days, I was scheduled for the final round, an onsite interview loop. The loop consisted of four 60-90 minute one-on-one interviews with various senior devs. Questions were challenging and stimulating, and covered a wide variety of subject matter. Everyone I interviewed with was incredibly passionate about their work, and the atmosphere in the office was exciting.
