I was contacted by an internal recruiter and invited to apply online. After I submitted my application and followed up with the recruiter, she set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. The phone interview went well and I was invited on-site. I had the opportunity to meet with the hiring manager, the program manager and several other team members. They mostly asked about my past experience in QA and test automation. The last interviewer was a principal engineer who asked very specific questions about Java. These were much harder than the others, but he told me I "did better than most people."
The on-site interview was followed by a Skype interview with the hiring manager's manager. He mostly asked whether I had managed a team before and how I would work with developers. I didn't hear anything from the company for a while but eventually received an offer. I accepted it as I had always been an Intel fan.
