I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Columbia, SC) in May 2015
Interview
Quick and easy. I knew many of the interviewers from past employer. Biggest hurdle was in understanding whether I was a fit for the role they were filling. Within the year since I was hired, I have watched this process change. Now, the emphasis is on filling race and gender quotas. I was hired before the hiring managers were handcuffed to direct most of their hiring from specific race/gender qualifications. Part of the interview process was selling the site/location. And the long term role in resurrecting Intel's server business.
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Santa Clara, CA) in Feb 2021
Interview
Phone screening, followed by 5 interviews in person for topics including logic design, architecture, UPF power, clocks, resets and static checks like lint and spyglass CDC/RDC. In the end included a behavioral round
