The first interview was over Zoom and was pretty basic, maybe a little longer than a typical introductory meeting. I told the recruiter about my experience and she told me about the role and company and a bit about herself. At the end she told me there'd be a second round interview, and then a final round, which be an hour-long presentation to a handful of people on the team/higher-ups, and we'd then meet in breakaway groups.
As soon as she said that I knew I was going to withdraw myself from consideration — I've done upaid edit tests/assignments before, but nothing that extensive, and frankly it's a ridiculous ask.
After the interview the recruiter emailed me and someone from the marketing team so we could set up another call. I replied separately to the recruiter to say thanks but I was no longer interested, but the email ended up bouncing back and the other employee never followed up about the next interview, so that was that.
