They interviewed me in a group that consisted of 6. During the interview they asked us questions and went around the room. During the interview they stated that the just opened and didn’t have a lot of answers to everything. They wanted us to be transparent about the role we were taking on. They weren’t able to tell us what specific shift we were going to work if hirked. I didn’t like that.
Easy, online process which was done completely over the internet an through an app. Easy, quick questions and provide your license and submit to a background check. Responses were direct and by the end of the "interview" you were notified either accepted or rejected.

Interview
Meeting is at Whole Foods and it is a group Interview with all the candidates interested in working for Instacart. One of their top Leads gets to know each person and explains how the job and the app works. Its very laid back and casual and fun. After that, we go on a fun little shopping test where we are given a list of items to collect in Whole Foods ( through our app. ) and we have to collect it and check it off the app list as quickly as possible to demonstrate our abilities and our understanding of how the app works. Once all that is done, we are done and ready to set our own schedules and get to working. The Lead provides us with his phone number so we can stay in contact in case we need additional advice and tips while working our shifts.
