I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Insight Global in Mar 2016
Interview
Was contacted on a Monday by both the recruiting agent and account manager for their client. I was asked to drive up to the headquarters for a brief interview two days later- which luckily I was able to do over Skype as the drive would have taken ~2 hours round trip plus the cost of parking-- for a 5 minute interview. After interviewing with Insight Global, the following day I interviewed with the client- the recruiter met me there and introduced me. I was invited to a second interview with the general manager the following Monday, received a job offer later that day and was asked to start the next day.
A second recruiting agent contacted me by phone and email to ask me if I was able to drive to the headquarters (again, ~2 hours round trip) to fill out paperwork. I deferred to printing all the documentation at home and the account manager met me on my first day to take my paperwork. I received an email later that day from the same second recruiting agent about needing to submit a UA sample, despite already working, and with the testing facility being open for the exact hours of my work shift. I later received an email from the original agent saying that the previous email was in error and I did not have to submit a UA.
I had one last section of web info to fill out to be able to begin logging time, have filled it out and have yet to receive a login/password for filling out time. I directly sent my first week time sheet to the account manager.
