I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Innovative-e
Interview
After attending the first interview, I was told that the company would inform candidates about the next steps. Unfortunately, I never received any update. I even sent a follow-up email requesting feedback or the status of my application, but there was no response. This lack of communication is disappointing, and it would be more professional for the company to communicate the outcome, even with a brief update or rejection email, to respect the candidate’s time and effort.

Question 1
Why does JavaScript behave differently in different browsers?
This small software start-up seemed promising, but the number of in-person interviews was overwhelming and each one dragged on endlessly. The interview process was an utter disappointment, leaving me completely in the dark about whether I had passed or failed until, to my dismay, I saw the same position advertised again just a week later.

I applied online. I interviewed at Innovative-e (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Everyone was super nice. The company seems to be in a growth phase, and I could tell everyone really enjoys working together.
The first round consisted of 3 larger questions you had to prepare for in advance with the hiring manager. The second round was with two of the team members, primarly behavioral/past experience.
After being told I would hear back regardless of their decision, I was ghosted which was pretty disappointing, as I was excited about the potential role.
