I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Informetis
Interview
A very long technical take-home test, that for the most part was unclear and open-ended. A technical interview was then conducted, which was awful. The interviewers were very unfriendly and constantly trying to catch you out rather than letting you explain what you did in the test. One guy kept on trying to catch me in a lie... and he didn't succeed as I wasn't lying about anything. I was not surprised that I didn't proceed further, but I would have withdrawn my application if I did because I would not be able to work in such a hostile environment.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Informetis (Cambridge, England) in May 2020
Interview
A take home test followed by an interview with three people from the ML team. The final round was a non-technical interview to discuss motivations and general career topics.
The test consisted of four questions, covering stats, programming and two longer questions on two ML problems. The first two are well defined, but the last two were more open ended. It seemed they were looking more for a demonstration of knowledge and thinking style than a specific answer. The interview reflected this.
The technical interview went over the paperwork, asking some probing questions in places there were obvious things missing, and asking for justification of various choices. This probed my knowledge around what I had done in the test, so I feel it was gauged quite well to my knowledge level. Clearly the interviewers knew a lot more about the topic than I did so they were able to ask questions toward the edge of what I knew, meaning it was quite obvious to them the level of my ability. Overall a good experience. Lasted about an hour.
The final round interview was with two management members that weren't in the ML team. This lasted about 30 minutes and covered motivations and general competency type questions.
I felt overall the process was quick and efficient, and was effective at allowing me to demonstrate my personality and knowledge. The take home test came before any screening so I can understand some other reviews complaining about that, but I think the whole process was over in 8 days. More screening interviews before the test probably wouldn't have changed the outcome and would have resulted in more time invested for everyone, so I was quite happy with the format.

Question 1
General ML questions: explain how algorithm x works, how would you generalise this approach to a production problem, what considerations should be taken in terms of training properly.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Informetis in Oct 2020
Interview
Take home exam
The company provided one line feedback for the test which really took a week to complete. It was very unprofessional interview process.
I applied through the recruiter, he was very professional and available to discuss every thing. But, the company didn't corporate well with the recruiter.
