Question 1
What kind of steps do you like to take when troubleshooting? What tools are you familiar with?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Infoplus in Mar 2021
Interview
I was contacted to schedule my first interview a day after sending in my application. I then went through three interviews within 5 days.
The first interview was with the interview facilitator/"people" specialist and the support team manager, where we discussed my experience, background, and skills - and generally getting to know each other. There were a couple situational questions asked (such as tell us about a time...), but the interview was more conversational than anything.
The second interview was actually the next day, and included the CTO, the support team lead, and the people specialist. In this interview, I was presented with tons of information about the company itself, with a heavy emphasis on their vision and values. In this interview, I was encouraged to ask questions about the company and culture. Again, quite conversational.
The final interview was set 2 days later - with the people specialist and the CEO. This interview was actually the most low-key of all of them, and was extremely conversational. As with the second interview, I was encouraged to ask questions about the company, and here I was able to learn more of the CEO's vision and see how passionate he is about the company. I was offered the position at the end of this interview and accepted the position that day.
The entire interview process was by far the best I've encountered - communication was excellent and clear, the leaders were honest answering any questions I had, and the process itself was extremely quick. I never felt like I was being "grilled"; I felt as if the leaders interviewing me cared about getting to know me, my values, what I could bring to Infoplus, and if Infoplus was the right match as a company - both to them and myself. They're really looking for the right people to be put in the right seats, and that the people they hire have the right mindsets and culture fit.
