I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Illumina (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
I was emailed by a recruiter to see if I was interested in the job. When I expressed interest, I was asked to send my resume, cover letter and complete the job application. After all of this was submitted, I had a phone interview with a member of their talent acquisition team scheduled a day or two after. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and was very pleasant. I was then asked to submit a video recorded interview via their website (~10 min). Lastly, I had a full-day of interviews with various members of the teams at headquarter.

Question 1
What is one time where you made a decision and needed to go back and change it?
The process is lengthy. It takes time between each step and each interviewer or panel. Don't be disappointed if there's a lot of waiting. I took a position at a different company days before they asked me to come back for another round of interviews.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Illumina
Interview
After an initial screening call with a member of the talent acquisition team, I had a half hour call with the hiring manager. Feedback was positive and I then moved on to five forty-five minute calls with various members of the team. Throughout this process, communication regarding next steps was abysmal. After emailing the recruiter several times to ask about my status, I heard that feedback from my interviews had been good and a decision would be made within a few days. After two weeks of not hearing back, I finally received a phone call asking if I would be able to relocate at my own expense by January (the hiring manager had said that relocation wasn't necessary and if I chose to do so it could be within a year of my first date back in the office-- likely January 2021). After agreeing to this and being told I would hear back within two days, I never heard back again despite my reaching out several times. That was over a month ago.
Ultimately, I am disappointed to have wasted many hours on this company (there were seven total interviews!) without receiving an answer either way. This company does excellent work and I was excited about the prospect of working for such a great cause, but it seems like I dodged a bullet here. If this is how the company treats its candidates, it doesn't bode well for how it treats its employees.

Question 1
How have you worked with senior stakeholders on complex communications initiatives?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Illumina (La Jolla, CA)
Interview
I received an automated response regarding my application within a week. I received a request to do the digital interview which I promptly returned. The in house recruiter shortly reached out to me to set up a follow up phone meeting wherein I was further screened for experience and compensation. She said she would get back to me but never did. Note: She also was late in the call and hurriedly finished it at the half hour mark.
