The recruiter was amazing, but the interview process was uncomfortably protracted. I reached out to the recruiter cold because available positions on the HubSpot website were challenging to navigate. The recruiter reached out a few weeks later with a newly-posted position that matched my background well. The recruiter and I had an initial screening conversation about a week later. Their questions were thoughtful, as were their attention to my own questions. It took about a week after the initial screening call for the Director of Product to make a decision to speak with me. That conversation got scheduled for about a week later. The interview with the Director of Product was a fun and casual conversation. The questions focused primarily on my background as both an individual contributor and a people leader. They left only about 5 minutes for questions of my own but offered to answer more over email. I sent over some more questions almost immediately following the interview. I received feedback from the recruiter two days later that the Director of Product felt the conversation went well and that they were wrapping up some other interviews throughout the next week to pull together a group for the final round. Two weeks passed with no updates from the recruiter and no response to my questions from the Director of Product. Based on how long it took to make a hiring decision, I sent an email to the recruiter withdrawing my candidacy assuming that the pace of decision-making could be representative of the overall pace of the company, which would be too slow for my tastes. A few days after sending the email, the recruiter sent me a separate email letting me know that they'd decided to move me ahead in the interview process with no acknowledgment of my having withdrawn. As of my writing this review, it's been three weeks since I sent the series of follow-up questions directly to the hiring manager, with no acknowledgment or response. The entire process from the recruiter's initial outreach with the role to my withdrawing myself from consideration took five weeks.

Dont waste your time with them. Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. Post initial discussion went through 5 rounds of interviews, including one presentation to the panel. The recruiter was in touch throughout the interview process, but after the last interview, they ghosted me Hubspot needs to understand the time and effort candidates put in to prepare for the interview Worst experience !
