      Recruiter reached out to me two weeks after I applied. She asked me to give her my availability, which I promptly provided....I offered four full days of availability and asked her to let me know if those days/times did not work. Then I heard nothing back. After a few days, I emailed her again to confirm and she said she was "unavailable" for the days I provided in my last email and wanted to reschedule. I sent over a new list of a few days and she confirmed via email. During our call she was pleasant but I got the impression they were unsure what they wanted for the role. We discussed salary which was SHOCKINGLY low. At the end of our 30-minute call her feedback was my background was perfect but since I wasn't currently in a management role (even though I have been previously) they may need to pass on my candidacy. I was surprised that that would be the basis of their hiring decision and that she doesn't realize character is what makes a good manager.

      Thanks for taking the time to write a review and I'm sorry we missed the mark here in your interaction with our team, both in the timeliness of the follow up but also the clarity on what we're looking for in our manager-level hires. The reality is that the team has a relatively open mind in terms of profile and background, but I can understand how that can be interpreted as a lack of decisiveness, so that's great feedback for our team on how we can better articulate the needs for a role, and also make sure we're clear in sharing feedback on why we may or may not move forward.
