I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot in Jul 2019
Interview
The interview process started with a request from a recruiter asking to complete a recorded interview. There were 3 questions total that would pop up on the screen and then a timer would start counting down for how long you had to respond before moving on to the next question. These were very basic questions. Next is a phone interview with a recruiter. After that, I was asked to do a phone interview with the hiring manager. Next was a 2.5-3 hour interview with 4 managers in the Customer Success department. Each person I met with was very prepared and were happy to answer all the questions I had. My recruiter called me after the 4 person interview to say that the feedback from the team was very positive and that I'd be moving to the final stage which is a 30 min video interview with the director of the department that would be more conversational. The recruiter also confirms logistics like salary and start date during this call so don't let that give you a false sense of hope. I then met with the director who asked very similar questions as my previous interviews but also threw in a technical question at the end that I wasn't prepared for. Unfortunately, I did not receive an offer. I really felt very qualified for the position and was willing to take a pay cut because of how aligned I felt with the HubSpot's mission and values. I'm not really sure what went wrong, but the recruiter included in the rejection email that I could schedule time with her to get some feedback. I followed up on that, however, the recruiter never called me when she said she would so that was also very disappointing.

Very basic CSM questions that can be found on their blog.
Sorry to hear that we let you down on the recruiter follow-up on feedback--it's been a super busy few months for our team, but we need to make good on our commitments on this front, so I apologize personally for that. Please do stay in touch and I'll ensure our team hears your feedback on closing the loop on interviewer feedback. Sincerely, Katie
