      I applied online and had my first correspondence about 3 weeks after submitting the application. Overall process was very friendly and relaxed. All interactions with the recruiter were prompt and was very helpful in answering any queries I had, very much made you feel at ease. 1st interview was with an automated interview which can seem daunting but the questions were all quite broad and open ended and more focused on learning more about you and your personality. The 2nd stage interview was a phone interview with the recruiter, this delved a bit further into your specific past/current experience, what you enjoy about customer support etc, why would you like to be a part of the the team at Hubspot. It was quite conversational and relaxed. I was told I would hear back a few days later if I was through to the next round (3 of 4) The whole process and experience was very friendly and personal until I got a 100% canned response from a generic email address to say I wasn't through to the next round. 'We have carefully reviewed your application for the Customer Support Specialist role, and unfortunately, we have decided not to move forward with your candidacy at this time.' I'm aware that the recruiting team are not providing a consultancy service for their applicants but I believe that it's not too much to ask to give the applicant some indication as to why they weren't considered for the next round. I found this to be very poor practice for a company that prides itself on honesty, trust and transparency. I followed up on two occasions with the recruiter I'd been dealing with in an effort to glean even a morsel of information as to why I wasn't considered and I was point blank ignored, no reply. By all accounts Hubspot is a fantastic place to work but I found this aspect of their recruiting process quite poor and questionable.

      Three rounds: -Screening with recruiter -Technical (live troubleshooting with a manager) -Behavioral (3-30 minute interviews with managers) The recruiter offers prep sessions before the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Take advantage of them as they’ll explicitly walk you through how to prepare.
