Dear Candidate Teacher,
Thank you for attending the first interview session with us and for the feedback given so that we are aware of areas to improve.
However, we would like to respond to your feedback, as we noticed some information is incorrect.
1) Teachers are given 40 - 49 days of Annual Leave, which falls during the term breaks in June and December. In the event of an emergency, you may apply for emergency leave, however, this will be unpaid leave.
2) Teachers who are pregnant are entitled to maternity leave as per their contracts. Our employment contract is a 2-year renewable contract and nowhere is it stated that teachers that get pregnant within these two years will be retrenched.
