      Account Manager - Wedding Spot Interview

      I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HoneyBook in Feb 2017

      Interview

      I only received a phone screen, however I was shocked by the lack of professionalism. The conversation started off well with questions like 'describe yourself' and 'how do you think your experience applies to this role'. But then it went all downhill from there. The recruiter kept saying 'ask me questions', which I did but would receive uninformative answer after uninformative answer. For example, I asked 'how many clients a day does the account manager usually handle?' and her response 'Um, I'm not sure. A lot? 50-100.' I also asked about growth potential and was told they are hiring and they guess they could see becoming a manager. I also asked about what statistics were used to up sell a client and was told you use them to up sell a client. Confusing- I know. While I cannot say I was surprised they didn't want to move forward with me, i can say I was surprised by the lack of information and experience the recruiter had. It was a bummer as I was excited about the opportunity.
