      Manager Interview

      29 Sept 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Home Chef (Chicago, IL) in Jul 2021

      Interview

I interviewed for a manager position in July 2021. I completed an initial phone interview, a 30 min interview with the hiring manager, completed an excel take home test and created a powerpoint with recommendations, then completed 2 more 30 minute interviews. After these interviews I was ghosted by the recruiter and then a few weeks later received a generic systematic response that I did not receive the job. After completing so many rounds of interview and putting multiple hours into the process I would have at least expected a personal email or phone call letting me know they were moving forward with another candidate. I can understand the decision to move on with someone else, but what I find unprofessional was the lack of response and being ghosted by the recruiter after I put some much time into talking with Home Chef.
