I was looking for internship 3 years ago. I applied their job posting. I got a call and they said they want to do interview with me. It was not hard. They were very respectful
You are given a toy project and then you're interviewed based on that project and your previous experience, motivation, and expectations. They go over the code and ask you why you did something a certain way, or what would you do if the requirement was slightly different, etc.
