The interview process was swift, lasting about five weeks. I felt incredibly supported every step of the way, thanks to an amazingly communicative recruiter. Before each phase, I was provided with clear descriptions of the competencies I would be assessed on, which made the process feel all the more fair—no "gotcha!" attempts.
The process consisted of a Recruiter call, Hiring Manager screening, two live skills interviews (focused on case studies/ situational questions), and a Cultural interview—all of which are outlined on their website.
Hinge really prioritizes not just finding qualified candidates but also identifying individuals who align with their culture and whose career goals are mutually beneficial. Don't let the "difficulty" rating scare you; I thought the questions I was asked were refreshingly interesting and kept me perked. When you're doing multiple concurrent interviews, it's easy for all the questions to feel grey and monotonous, whereas, in my Hinge convos, I didn't feel such.
