I applied through other source. I interviewed at HVN Travel Group (Miami, FL)
Interview
I’ve had two separate experiences with HVN Travel Group that left me questioning their hiring process. On both occasions. Once in 2023 and again this past Friday. I received an email from co-founder Jason Paez expressing enthusiasm about my background and a strong interest in speaking further about the role and hiring process.
Each time, I responded promptly with my resume and phone number, yet I never received confirmation for a call. Then, a few days later, I received nearly the same follow-up response, apologizing for the delay and stating that someone had accepted an offer over the weekend, making the position unavailable.
If a candidate had already been selected, why reach out in the first place with such enthusiasm? This not only wastes my time but is also disrespectful to both the new hire and other potential candidates. If this reflects how the company operates, then I have no interest in being part of such an unorganized process.
If you're considering an opportunity with HVN Travel Group, be prepared for a potentially frustrating experience.
The interview process was all virtual. The interview process started with a phone call and then a few other phone calls with a few different people. I would say this was a normal to difficult interview process.
