      Project Manager Interview

      27 Feb 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Ground Control in Feb 2026

      Interview

Submitted CV, got email asking to submit a video of me stating why I wanted the role . The same day and time I sent the video in. I get an email through from a LOU saying your not a fit for the role. So in 24hrs I go from a fit to not a fit. These people can't see real talent and wouldn't know it if it stood in front of them. I wrote to complain and an explanation, still waiting. My advice don't waste your time applying with them. See other reviews. I told them to shuv the job

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ground Control (Lincoln, England) in Jun 2025

      Interview

3 stage process, starting with an informal chat about the role, followed by a Microsoft Teams Interview and finally invited to an experience day. A good Q&A session with senior managers and taken out for an insight into surveying from a current Project manager, which I found really enjoyable.

      Application

      Interview

Having served 25 years in the Military the experience of going through a interview process is quiet daunting. The process at Ground Control put me at ease though with their people first approach. Starting with the initial telephone interview with Hannah, who was very understanding and professional in her approach. This then moved onto a formal interview online with two contract managers (David and Steph) This was a quiet relaxed interview which allowed me to be myself and get across who I truly am and what I have to offer the company. Once receiving a next stage conformation I then attended a experience day. I met other members of the team which gave an opportunity for more questions from me and them and a better understanding or roles and processes. I spent the day with a senior project manager (Dan) who was brilliant. We spent the day going through surveys and discussing in depth the requirements of the role and what is expected of a PM. The day ended with further discussion with senior members of the team on the role and company and again questions were asked and answered.
