Ground Control offers services, including biodiversity consultancy, grounds maintenance, winter gritting, landscape construction, design, arboriculture, electric vehicle charging point installation and more to over 50,000 commercial properties across the UK. Ground Control is renowned for its outstanding service, producing over 98.6% annual client site retention each year with a current NPS (net promoter score) of 44. Ground Control is investing in a unique set of sustainability initiatives and is a carbon-neutral company. This includes the Evergreen Fund, an initiative that dedicates 5% of Ground Control’s annual net profits to a £5 million Impact Venture Fund dedicated to environmental initiatives and carbon sequestration.
As part of Ground Control’s carbon sequestration commitment, the Evergreen Fund dedicates £100,000 each year to native tree planting. In 2023 we are celebrating our 50th Anniversary in a way that supports our mission to leave the world in a better place than we found it. We'll be planting a new Ground Control Forest , with a tree representing every one of our unique colleagues. We'll be taking part in weekly sustainability webinars to understand how we as individuals can reduce our carbon footprint for the greater good. And we'll be working in partnership with our customers on our 50th Anniversary Community Service Days, delivering projects that enable our people to give back in their own local communities.
Ground Control has won many awards and accolades for its outstanding service and products, including, being the 16th Best Large UK Company to work for , B Corp Accredited, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2021 and the British Association of Landscape Industries’ (BALI) prestigious Grand Award for the Children’s Garden at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew 2019.
