Considering this is a position that they were looking to create and had no previous experience with hiring / employing for this position, the interview focused around mainly my skills, what I would recommend for the position, and how I think I could support the marketing and content strategy for the company. Overall, the CEO and Ops Manager seemed to have very different ideas / expectations for the position, and didn’t seem to be on the same page.
If applying for a position like this, I’d recommend referring back to the job description heavily, and using strong, leadership-oriented stats to boost your credentials.
