I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Grazitti Interactive in Nov 2024
Interview
My experience with this company was nothing short of a complete waste of time and effort. After clearing the first technical round with over 4 years of experience, I was given a project/assignment that required building a fully functional backend and frontend within a week—a task that felt more like unpaid labor than a fair evaluation. Against all odds, I successfully delivered the project, only to be told I had been “selected” for the next round.
I expected the final round to focus on the project I had painstakingly created or on what I’d be working on in the role. Instead, it was an insultingly irrelevant interview. The interviewer didn’t bother to ask a single question about the project or my technical expertise. Instead, I was given a single coding problem (which I solved) and some embarrassingly basic questions. The entire process lacked direction, professionalism, and respect for the effort I had put into the earlier assignment.
Despite meeting their unreasonable demands, I was rejected, which makes me believe this company had no intention of hiring me in the first place. It seems they only wanted a ready-made project setup to solve their own problems—problems they were either too incompetent or too lazy to address themselves.
This kind of behavior is not just unprofessional; it’s exploitative. If they treat candidates like this, I can’t imagine how poorly they treat employees. Think twice before engaging with a company that sees candidates as free labor rather than potential team members.
