I interviewed with GovSpend and recieved the intial phone screening interview call which started off very impersonal which was the first thing I noticed. To begin with, I was asked about my background to which I detailed, having relevant professional experience with various JavaScript frameworks including React which was listed in the job description and all was going somewhat well in my opinion, at least on my end, until I recieved an email while on the phone with the representative, the generic "We regret to inform you..." denial message. I felt this was very disrespectful as candidates usualy spend a good amount of time, as I did, to prepare for interviews. I am happy to not proceed further anyways considering this was very improfessional.
