I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Boulder, CO) in Sept 2017
Interview
Was on a Google-Doc. Question was simply based on past software experiences. The interviewer started asking me questions on what my experience was with multi-threading, although limited I did talk to him about having a button handler

Question 1
Question was about using a shared resource between two threads. Basic Producer/Cosumer model.
Invited directly to on-site in Mountain View due to strong referral.
Interviews were extremely hard questions, over my experience and knowledge. Interviewers seemed quite boring individuals to work with. Questions can range from system design to sorting algorithms.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Taipei) in Mar 2025
Interview
Very standard Google interview. First round recruiter to outline and chat, 3 rounds of technicals, then a final hiring committee round.
Unfortunately I didn't make it past the last round, and be wary there is a 1-year cooldown period before you can attempt again.
The technical rounds themselves weren't particularly hard if you are competent.
