Having just hung up from the single-most impressive TA conversation I've had in my career, I wanted to share my experience with Austin King. I'm blown away by all that we accomplished in just 45 minutes. From start to finish, the meeting was insightful, engaging, inspiring, energizing, and profoundly informative. Austin has a deep understanding of Gong's product roadmap and a powerful grasp of the ecosystem in which Gong operates. He provided astute insights into the impact and significance of Gong's work, and although I was already a huge fan of the product, his perspective helped me appreciate just how groundbreaking and future-shifting the work is. Austin knows and understands the business and the space, and he is a brilliant front-line narrator of the story - I'm officially and fully hooked. Austin clearly has strong relationships with Gong's leadership team, allowing him to bring valuable, compelling, clear perspective on the opportunity, the team I'd be working with, and the kind of person that could excel in this next chapter for Gong. His transparency and candid take on the role and exec team - and the fact that he truly thinks Gong's leaders are world-class - was helpful, refreshing, exciting, and gave me a ton of trust and confidence in the organization. In short, my meeting with Austin was nothing short of exceptional. If this is the talent caliber at Gong, count me in please.
