I applied through university. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Chandigarh) in Aug 2023
Interview
The interview consisted of 4 rounds in which 3 were technical rounds and the last was the HR round. The questions asked in the first technical round was of easy leetcode level but the difficulty of the question increased as we proceed to the further round. The HR round was decent as the person was supportive but still I got rejected.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself or walk me through your resume.
Initial tech screening it went pretty. Its all basic coding questions and interviewer was polite and guided me along the interview. It was one hour of screening couple of questions related to project then moved to coding.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2026
Interview
The process started with a CoderPad technical round conducted remotely. The interview consisted of two coding problems with a time constraint. The first problem was a straightforward algorithmic question involving array manipulation and search, which I solved completely. The second problem involved graph traversal and cycle detection — I had the correct approach worked out but ran out of time to fully implement it. The interviewers were professional and the platform worked smoothly. Overall a standard technical screen for a large financial firm, though the time pressure was significant. Received a rejection email about a week after the interview.
They asked me one SDE question and asked me to explain one of my projects ....The interviewer provided many hints throughout the interview and was very helpful. my friends were also asked modetate questions
