      Quantitative Strategist Interview

      3 Jun 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (New York, NY) in Jan 2026

      Interview

1st round: it was a remote live coding session in a shared coding IDE, so my interviewer could see my code in real time. Two LeetCode problems, one easy and one medium. Because it was a plain script, I had only two test cases hardcoded, and there wasn't a submit button. So it was more about describing my code to the interviewer.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

Extract data from maps and do some computation with it
      Answer question

      Question 2

Write an algorithm that prints the results of a division of two integers with either finite decimal or periodicity, e.g., 3.(3) in the case of 10/3.
