I applied online. I interviewed at Global Relay (London, England) in Jan 2025
Interview
Initial stages were fine. Although I felt pre-screening was terrible. 5 random questions about programming (In the candidates domain) is not a great way to do sanity checks.
When it came to the technical round; the task is straightforward and simple. However, the interviewer kept interrupting me and making his own suggestions whilst I was competing the solution and thus, I did not finish it in time. He kept reiterating stuff I knew and overall it was distracting. I actually completed the task after the call within a couple of mins (My own sanity check) - because no interruptions.
It's no wonder this company is still constantly looking for developers (as far back as last year)
I have 10 years experience and a successful career to back it up - and they lost me as a candidate due to their silly way of trying to "be different" as they put it.
Stick to what works. This does not.

Question 1
Create a function that outputs constantly for vehicle speed. And vary the output by 1mph - hardly difficult.
