First a recruiter found me on LinkedIn.
We scheduled an interview, basic questions about the role, benefits and work culture.
Then it was a technical interview and a final interview with a manager.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Glia (Ciudad de Mexico) in Mar 2026
Interview
I applied to a client engineer position and I had my first HR interview, it was a really good interview where they guided me on what position would be a better fit according to my profile and they scheduled with me a follow up interview with a guy named Nate Meeks that from the beginning I would define as a unwelcoming person, he looked like he was stressed or something but from the beginning he was asking about where I live and I told him that I live in Mexico City and he told me like “no, in what part of Mexico City you live” and from that moment I thought “oh boy, this is one of those interviews”.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
He asked me what would be my purpose on moving from where I work now to Glia and I think that was a question of knowing each other because he requested me to talk about myself and that’s what I did
He then rearranged the question for me to answer in a more direct way, like “what is the contrast from were you work now to glia, that is pushing you to move from there?”
