No interview actually - just an invitation for a 30-minute phone screening which I declined after a couple of emails back and forth. Why (I declined): (1) they wanted me to sign an elaborate NDA before the call, (2) they declined to state the location or the pay range before the call.
I was not opposed to this per even though both items are highly unusual - yet to me, this indicated systemic problems with their interview process and hiring practices - so I figured I'd bow out early on.
P.S. What's the deal with companies refusing to disclose the pay range (however wide) before asking for a 30-minute call? Something I am missing?
