Interview
Interviewing for a position at Gentrack turned out to be a frustrating and disheartening experience.
1. Unethical use of my work: I was asked to complete a project and present a strategy during the interview process. To my surprise, Gentrack later used elements of my strategy on their social media platforms. Despite the evident value they found in my work, they completely ghosted me afterwards.
2. Unprofessional communication: After successfully passing three interview stages, I had to chase the recruiter multiple times for any update. After weeks of no response, I was finally informed that the role was under review. This abrupt and unclear communication was both confusing and disheartening.
3. Ongoing silence: Since being told the role was under review, all attempts to get an update have been ignored. This complete lack of communication is unprofessional and reflects poorly on the company.
Overall, this experience has left me questioning the integrity and professionalism of Gentrack's hiring process.
Drawn out interview process with sporadic communication, offering little reassurance that a candidate is still in the mix. Then a sudden message to detail the next stage. Not the best experience of an interview process
