The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Gap (Birmingham, England)
Interview
They were very fast with getting back to me for an interview invite. Though I had to call back and ask them to let me know if my interview was successful or not, to this day I still don’t know.
I worked for half an hour during my interview and invested time and money to go to the store and attend.
A bit of a slap in the face since they knew well I was urgently looking for work, so knowing the outcome would’ve helped.
Thankfully something better came along and I’m not interested in working for Gap anymore, especially seeing their lack of feedback towards potential candidates.
Appalling.
Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes
It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
