Don’t interview for this company! They spam LinkedIn and Indeed with several fake job postings weekly. All their job postings have similar names such as “marketing assistant” or “brand representative”. The job descriptions are all purposely vague and misleading. They even have two separate LinkedIn pages with different logos. After researching the company, I found out that there is allegedly only one base wage-less, 100% commission position for face-to-face sales job at Walmart where customers aren’t interested in what you’re selling.
I received an email from them and was confused because I had already purposely avoided applying for them, once I looked them up on Glassdoor. After looking through my applications, I realized that they are using an account with the company named “Draft” on Indeed. When I asked them for a link of the job posting or where they got my application from, they ignored me. I proceeded to get daily emails for “second and third chances” to reschedule my interview. I replied every time asking this simple question and they ignored me.
Once you apply, they will try to pressure you into scheduling an interview immediately the next day, hoping that this gives them enough time for you not to research their company. If you have any questions, they will ignore you. Instead, they will send you daily copy and pasted emails, urging you to schedule an interview the next day. These “20 minute preliminary” interviews could easily be done over the phone, but they require you to meet in person.
All of the positive reviews on Glassdoor seem very fake and written by managers/the CEO of the company. If you read them you’ll see what I mean (one review specifically mentions that it is definitely NOT a pyramid scheme). There are too many negative reviews about selling Xfinity subscriptions at Walmart and it indeed being a pyramid to ignore. By looking at their website you can tell they are a sketchy company. It looks like a high schooler’s first website coding project and the description of what the company actually does is extremely vague/doesn’t really explain anything.
This is a very shady company and I am amazed that they are able to legally run their business. It seems very misleading and fraudulent in nature.
