      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at FreeMind Group

      Interview

The interviewers were extremely late for the interview. Their attitude was very demeaning, and it seemed like the interviewers are performing a stand up show, and it seemed like they are asking questions in order to hear themselves laughing rather than to receive a proper answer.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FreeMind Group (Jerusalem, Jerusalem) in Sept 2021

      Interview

I applied online for the Client Strategist position at Argentum, a subsidiary of the FreeMind Group located in Rechavia, Jerusalem. They are located in an apartment building, where they converted an entire floor to an office. A few days later I get a call from their HR department, had a short phone conversation, which lead to a Zoom interview with her a few days later. After the Zoom interview, she sent me a home task to complete, saying it would take 3-4 hours. Needless to say it took more like 7-8 to complete in a manner that I was satisfied handing in. A few days later they called me in for an interview at their offices, which I was under the assumption would be a final interview. There were four interviewers present at the meeting (I must say it felt more like a hearing than an interview, where each of them shot out questions at me in order to feel like they need to show they're participating in the event). This was during Covid, so we were all wearing masks in a closed room, which made the situation much more uncomfortable (understandable, but still uncomfortable). They all came in late into the meeting, making me wait around for them to get organized. At the end of this tribunal, which I thought would be a final interview, they blurt out something in the lines of me needing to perform yet another task - this time, to prepare and present a 10-minute presentation on Zoom, on a topic they would choose. I went home confused but decided to prepare the presentation, which took me a few hours to research, prepare and rehearse for. The day of the presentation arrives and the same tribunal met again, coming in late (again) and not knowing how to grant me the ability to share my screen, playing around with it for a few minutes. I performed my presentation, which I personally thought I did a good job on (I've prepared and presented a few hundred presentations in my career, meaning I know how to assess if I did a good job or not. The next day I get a bizarre phone call from the head of Strategy (one of the people who interviewed me) who told me that I'm at a tie with another candidate (???) and don't know which one of us to choose. Furthermore, she feels I'm not European enough for their clients ( - again, what ????), even though I am an American living in Israel with fluent English, and have many years of working with European and international clientele. So she ends off telling me that she'sHow will not sure how to move forward and that the HR department will get back to me. It's been three weeks and I haven't heard back from them. What a joke of a company, I'm really happy I don't work for them.
