Describe your strengths and weaknesses.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Freddie Mac
Interview
Dropped my resume through university career site and was invited to interview at my school. I really liked my interviewer, he seemed very genuine and was a good representation of the culture of the firm. I passed the first round and was invited to a Freddie Day. However, got a vague voicemail saying that the event was cancelled and I'd be updated at a later time. I called and emailed them trying to find out more info and was told several different stories. Even though I passed the first round and was not given the chance to complete a final, weeks later I received an email thanking me for my interest.
The Interviewer was showing off. They spend about 80% of time interview time talking about their credentials and how they have grown. Highlighting their PhD in Math and how my credentials are strong enough for entry level
