1st round was a talk with an HR partner, where we reviewed my resume, skills, and qualifications, and went in depth about the team, the product, and the role. This was the only good thing about the process, as I thoroughly enjoyed talking to the HR partner. He's a genuinely fun person to talk to who seemed interested in who I was both as a candidate and as a person. Second round was a non-technical interview both with the head of professional services and the head of sales+customer success discussing previous work experience, work culture, etc. That is as far as I got. Talking to these two felt belittling in a way I haven't really experienced in any other interview. It seemed like, very early on, they had already made up his mind regarding my candidacy. The rest of the conversation, they talked to me like they wanted to give me a participation trophy and a pat on the back -- I didn't feel a genuine interest from them about me, but rather it sounded like they were regurgitating platitudes about my achievements and goals.
