Via a recruitment agent Interview 1 - With company internal HR Interview 2 - With VP of Sales Interview 3 - Following a 1 hour webex with product manager the previous day on how to use the HR module, I presented the product back to the product manager, company owner and an account manager. Frustratingly they declined to offer a job despite saying they liked me at each stage and my presentation. Justification was that I was apparently too corporate (my approach can easily adapt). Also the other excuse was that I do not come from a hospitality background. Despite the fact that from the age of 18 to 25 I worked in pubs, club, restaurants and hotels including planning staff rotas. Not sure how this is not relevant. I really felt I was a strong fit to the culture. Oh well.
