After applying, I was quickly contacted by a recruiter and scheduled a chat with the CEO about a week later. The conversation was polite but generic and more of an alignment check. Given that my background is directly in the robotics niche relevant to the position, it felt like a good match. The CEO said I'd hear back within two weeks but it has now been over six months with no follow-up. For such a small startup, ghosting after an interview feels rather inappropriate. I would not recommend engaging with their hiring process.
