I interviewed for a System Administrator position, passed the initial phone screen, and spoke with the hiring manager—everything seemed to be going well. Then, I was given a take-home assignment, which I dedicated a significant amount of time and effort to complete. Afterward, I was told they would schedule a time to discuss the assignment, but I never heard back. It’s incredibly frustrating and disheartening to feel like my time and work were taken advantage of without any follow-up. This whole experience has left me feeling used and unappreciated.
