An informal conversation with the head of operations in Oxford where he asks a bit about yourself and your connection with the city, checking to see whether you are able to engage in some small talk as well as whether you have genuine interest in the history of the city.

Did you study at the University of Oxford? What did you study? What are your general career plans? When are you usually available?
Straightforward, relaxed chat with someone from operations. Nothing intended to catch you out.

There is then some training after the initial offer - date test and tour walk-through.

skype interview because I was abroad. This was then followed by a walk around the tour route, once I had learnt the script. I then had an oral test of all the signifiant dates in the tour.
