      Technical Internship Interview

      14 Nov 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments in Nov 2013

      Interview

The hiring process started with an initial phone conversation with an HR employee discussing what I was interested in and explanations of experiences and aspects of my resume. The HR representative then setup an interview with two different department directors related to my interests a couple weeks later. The interview with the two directors were one after the other and simply went over aspects of my resume and how I could fit into the company. The interview was quite surprisingly informal and was largely a get to know type of interview. Advice: I believe that this interview process was largely focused on whether I could be an employee that was enthusiastic, easy to work with, and open to new experiences (especially for an intern position).

      Question 1

There were no particularly difficult questions. All questions were about experiences and what I was interested in exploring with the company.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments in Oct 2023

      Interview

I have yet to have my final round, but the first round was a behavioral recruiter phone screen. They also asked me some questions related to object-oriented programming, but it was mostly just behavioral questions.
