The interview with Eskild Hansen felt less like an interview and more like a moment of self-reflection—
a chance to reconsider what kind of designer I want to become.
Instead of quick judgments or result-oriented questions, the conversation unfolded calmly around design attitudes and ways of working. That, in itself, left a strong impression on me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
About my projects, motivation, and working experiences.
The interview process was smooth, starting with an initial meeting with HR, followed by a conversation with the Industrial Designer, and concluding with a final meeting with the owner. After presenting and discussing my portfolio, they asked more specific and technical questions, though they were not overly complex.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eskild Hansen Design Studio (Copenhagen, Capital Region)
Interview
Multiple rounds of interviews. Seemed like unprepared aimless chats. In some interviews, you get a chance to meet other designers. A broad design challenge that I had to present multiple times. Unclear terms and offerings.
